When one sees a person walking with a hook cane or a drug store aluminum cane the first thoughts that come to mind are "old", "frail", "ugly". Unfortunately this is the stereotype that accompanies these types of canes.
On the other hand when one sees a person walking with a handsome handmade wood cane, especially one with character, the attention is drawn to the cane and the first thing that comes to mind is "hey nice cane", and the urge is to ask the person where they got it.
Handmade wood walking canes attract attention and are a good conversation piece. Handmade walking canes make you feel good about yourself. There is no need to be embarrassed when walking with a handmade cane.
I have a customer who owns five or six handmade wood walking canes three of which are Wupen Canes. He uses each cane for different occasions or chooses "the cane of the day" based on how he feels. He is proud of his walking canes and treats them like family.

Walking Cane Length
I make most of my walking canes fairly long. This allows me to shorten the cane to your specified length, before shipping (at no extra charge).

Most of my Wood walking Canes can easily be shortened at home, if you prefer. I have written instructions on how to shorten a cane to your proper length which I will enclose with a purchased cane, on request.
